It’s easier than ever to snap a picture of someone on your digital camera or phone, but the value of a planned, professionally-shot and well-considered portrait remains.
I began shooting portraits more than twenty years ago. I specialise in recording people in their natural environment, often spending time with them in their workplace to build a rapport and choose a location that best fits the sitter.
Traditional studio portraits are also one of my main subject areas. Sitters can arrange to visit me at Vernon Mill or I can bring a mobile studio setup to the sitters’ workplace or home.
